Mumbai – A Photo Portrait

Mumbai is my current place of residence. I shifted here few years ago from my hometown Kolkata for work reasons. Over the years, this city has made its way into my heart and totally captured it. It’s vibrancy, its melting-pot culture, its never-sleep nature – all these are something I love. There are bad points – the traffic, the pollution, the population – and boy, do they bug me at times but everything has pros and cons and for me even the cons make up part of what Mumbai is.

So here’s presenting a portrait of the Mumbai as I have seen it over the years.

  1. The first place to shift to after our hometown has a way of making its way into the heart. Jaipur was the same for me. Lovely photo tour of Mumbai you gave use.

  2. Mumbai meri Jaan! I had stayed in Mumbai for a good 5 and half years just before moving to France. And as they famously say… you can take a person away from Mumbai but you can not take Mumbai away from a person!

  3. Beautiful.. i was in mumbai from 2012 to 2015 and i found it to be beautiful place albeit a tad too fast and noisy for my liking. But my friends there love it for the same reason. I have some very fond memories of the city.
